Deriv Trader (DTrader) Guide: How to Log In, Choose a Contract and Place Your First Trade
Quick answer: Deriv Trader (often called DTrader) is Deriv’s main manual trading screen for options, multipliers and accumulators. You open it from your Deriv account dashboard on the web or in the Deriv app, pick a market (such as Volatility 100), a contract type, a duration and a stake, check the payout, and press Buy. Start on the demo account, which is free.

How to Log In to Deriv Trader

  1. Go to deriv.com (type it yourself; do not use links from strangers) and log in, or open the official Deriv app.
  2. In your account dashboard choose Options and then Deriv Trader.
  3. Switch between Demo and Real at the top before trading.
  4. If you cannot log in, see {L("deriv-login-problems", "Deriv login problems")}.

Risk warning: Trading Deriv products such as digit options, multipliers and synthetic indices is high-risk. You can lose all the money you deposit, quickly. No bot, signal or strategy can guarantee profit, and past results do not predict future results. Practise on a demo account first, only trade money you can afford to lose, and check that Deriv is allowed where you live. This guide is education, not financial advice.
