Deriv Accumulator Settings Tested: Growth Rate and Take-Profit on Real Ticks

Quick answer: Accumulators win often when you take profit early, but each loss costs the whole stake. On real Volatility 100 ticks, taking profit after 3 ticks at 1% growth won about 96% of the time, yet every setting tested lost money over time; longer holds and higher growth rates lost the most. Use small stakes, early take-profit and a daily stop-loss.

How to Set Accumulators in H-BOT

  1. Open H-BOT Africa (or Deriv Bot) and choose Accumulators.
  2. Pick the market and growth rate (start low).
  3. Set a take-profit; the contract closes automatically when reached.
  4. Keep the stake small and set a daily stop-loss.
How we tested: real Deriv tick history pulled from the official Deriv API on 2026-10-06 (20,000 ticks per market: Volatility 100, 75, 10 and Volatility 100 (1s)), replayed tick by tick with the live Deriv payouts for a USD 1 stake. Past results do not predict future results; this shows how the tool and the maths behave, not what you will earn.

Knock-out was simulated with the barrier distance Deriv quoted live for each growth rate, applied tick by tick.

Risk warning: Trading Deriv products such as digit options, multipliers and synthetic indices is high-risk. You can lose all the money you deposit, quickly. No bot, signal or strategy can guarantee profit, and past results do not predict future results. Practise on a demo account first, only trade money you can afford to lose, and check that Deriv is allowed where you live. This guide is education, not financial advice.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best accumulator take-profit on Deriv?

In our test, early take-profit (3–5 ticks) at low growth rates lost the least, but all settings lost over time.

Which accumulator growth rate is safest?

Lower growth rates have wider ranges and survive more ticks.

Why do accumulators lose over time if they win so often?

Each loss costs the whole stake while each win is small, and the pricing includes Deriv's edge.
