Best Deriv Bot Settings: Stake, Take-Profit, Stop-Loss and Martingale Explained

Quick answer: The settings that matter most on any Deriv bot are the stake, the take-profit, the stop-loss and, if used, the martingale multiplier and maximum steps. Safer settings keep each stake small compared with your balance (about 1–2%), stop the bot after a fixed daily profit or loss, and cap or switch off martingale.

Why Martingale Needs a Cap

With a 2× multiplier, a run of losses grows the stake fast: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128. Eight losses in a row need 255 times your first stake in total. Losing streaks happen on every contract type. Use a step cap and a stop-loss, or switch martingale off.

Small stakes (about 1–2% of balance), a daily take-profit and stop-loss, and martingale off or capped.

What is the minimum stake on Deriv Bot?

Deriv shows the minimum stake for each contract when you set it; for many options it starts around USD 0.35.
