Accommodation
Stay, food & what to bring
You can stay at the venue for the whole bootcamp. It's simple and practical, so you can focus on learning.
On site
- Beds available. You rent a bed and mattress: the cost is confirmed with you after you apply.
- Shared kitchen. Prepare your own meals.
- Tell us on the form if you need a bed.
What to bring
- Your own beddings (sheets, blanket, pillow)
- Self-care products (toiletries, towel, personal items)
- A laptop if you have one (a phone works, a laptop is better)
- Charger, power bank and your national ID

Good to know
Do I need trading experience?
No. Day 1 starts from the basics and everyone practises on a Deriv DEMO account, which uses free virtual money.
How much does it cost?
The bootcamp fee and bed rent are shown at the top of this page once they are set, or shared with you after you apply. Paying the booking deposit gives your seat priority.
Where do I sleep and eat?
Beds and a kitchen are available at the venue in Nanyuki. You rent a bed and mattress and bring your own beddings and self-care products. The exact venue location is shared when your seat is confirmed.
Will I make money after the bootcamp?
Nobody can promise that. Trading carries real risk of loss. You will learn how to test strategies, control risk and decide when not to trade.
Can I come with a phone only?
Yes, but a laptop makes the bot and testing sessions much easier. Tell us on the form if you need help getting one.
How do mentors get paid?
It depends on the mentor: per session or day, a revenue share, or volunteering. We agree it with each mentor after reviewing their results and a sample lesson.
